CONTENTBOXER PRIVACY STATEMENT

Personal Information and Content Collected

ContentBoxer is offered by Minnick Web Services, LLC (MWS) as a service that enables Content Publishers to upload content files and collect user data (readership statistics and volunteered information) from users.

Readership statistics may include: Content titles read, pages read, reading duration, links clicked, content items shared via email or social network, forwarding email address, and other individual and aggregate statistics.

Volunteered information may include the user’s email address(es) and personal identifying information, email addresses of other individuals with whom the user chooses to “share” the content, as well as answers to questions defined by Content Publishers for their customized registration process. ContentBoxer enables Content Publishers to define and ask questions of any kind.

ALL USER DATA ARE VISIBLE TO THE CONTENT PUBLISHER.

CONTENT PUBLISHERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR POSTING THEIR OWN PRIVACY POLICIES ON WEB SITES FEATURING THEIR CONTENTBOXER LINKS.

MWS, its employees, and contractors will use uploaded content and collected user data for no purpose other than its preservation and accessibility on behalf of Content Publishers and for furthering development of ContentBoxer and related MWS services. In carrying out these purposes, on a confidential basis MWS may view the content and user data, run test reports, send test emails, create backups, provide technical support, and perform other technical functions.

MWS also collects information from and about the Content Publishers who use ContentBoxer, including personal information including name and address, email address, billing address, payment methods including credit card numbers, and other data required to complete sales transactions and maintain a customer relationship.

By creating a ContentBoxer account, a ContentPublisher gives MWS permission to contact him/her by email, postal mail, or telephone for purposes related to the operation of ContentBoxer and related services including but not limited to sending invoices, answering technical questions, inquiring about customer satisfaction, inquiring about the legality of the Content Publisher’s uploaded content, sending service and availability notifications, sending news about ContentBoxer’s use and development, and sending news about MWS and services related to ContentBoxer.

MWS may use third-party services including online software and hosting, applications, plug-ins or helper applications, external shopping carts, Web site management and reporting, and other tools that support or extend ContentBoxer’s operation. These third-party services may handle portions of data collection and processing activities as needed to support or extend ContentBoxer’s operation.

Cookies and Other Technologies

MWS collects the information as described in the Privacy Statement above using a variety of techniques and technologies:

MWS uses survey forms and data entry screens for volunteered information including information required to complete business transactions with Content Publishers.

MWS uses Web site monitoring techniques such as “cookies” and other technologies for maintaining user and Content Publisher sessions, compiling usage statistics about ContentBoxer and other MWS Web sites, personalizing a user’s interaction with ContentBoxer and other MWS Web sites, completing ContentBoxer transactions, and monitoring and reporting on a user’s reading experience. ContentBoxer may not function properly if you block or reject ContentBoxer cookies.
